Item ideas
 

Might as well see what strange ideas people might have for magical items they wouldn't mind seeing. Some might be moddable in... some not.

My own warped mind notes that it would be thematic for a R'lyeh-targeted artifact tome -- the Necronomicon -- which, over time, gives a chance of increasing Summoning skill in exchange for a chance of increasing insanity and maybe even horror-marking. I don't think this is moddable in, 'tho.

Can't think why not, you can add stats like air shield with an artifact so why not summoning and insanity. Although a steady increase in insanity may not be possible

What would be the point of such an item though? Thematically, it wuld HAVE to be cursed. Once the poor soul really starts to rack up summoning successes and gets really good at it, he's so crazy you can't order him to enter the void gate most of the time. Items that boost summoning skill are a good idea though - I'd like to see more racial items. Like the Jade Mask and the Black Laurel.

Fun. A crazy old summoner would be a neat thing to have. And you could always have a second summoner in reserve.
