Problem creating new game
For some reason whenever I create a new game of SE:V I start with all of the all the Theoretical Science technologies at level 1 (at least it says level 1 and it states the level 1 research cost) yet when I have none of the level 1 options available ot me and when I right click on them for further detail they list the level 0 information.
It started doing this when I noticed I had a bunch of tech points to spend when creating a new race/empire. Since it isn't mentioned in the manual (that I can see) I assumed that changing those allowed us to customize the default intital techs with that many points to spend, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Plus once I reset everything back to zero, I still start with those techs at level 1, even on completely new empires. Anyone know what might be causing this? |

Nevermind, found out what the problem was, the Tech display doesn't update the first section of information (Current level and Research points required) but does update the remaining information.
Also found another problem, when you upgrade facilities that are currently being built they are either erased from the aue next turn, or get to their final year and then dissappear when scheduled to be built. |
