Empowering effecting bless ?

Hello,

I have looked in the manual and these forums, but have not been able to find if empowering a pretender to a certain threshold will have an effect on blessing (e.g. will empowering a pretender from W3 to W4 add +1 to defense when units are being blessed/to the pretender, or will only the magic skills bought during the pretender generation be considered for blessing?).

Doesn't effect. Only starting levels matter.

On the plus side, lost levels (due to death) don't effect blesses either. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
