Undead taking holy fire
 

Question: Several times now I've gotten the message that my undead troops in a province are taking damage from holy fire because of something in the province. (I.e. not due to another pretender's attack.) But the provinces in question had been akashic recorded and no sites that would do this are discovered. Bug or feature?

Well, what sites were there? There's the Rainbow Shroud, for instance.

Several magic sites have the Holy Fire features and they affect the undead even if the sites aren't found. Rainbow Shroud and Pool of Sanctity are two of them, Marignon's capital also has a Holy Fire site from what I remember.

With Akashic Record having been cast there... No idea. Perhaps some site has an unmentioned effect. Is Purgatory the global spell in effect?

It was rainbow shroud...I thought it'd be mentioned in the site description, but it's not.

But he said he'd cast Akashic Record, so there shouldn't be any hidden sites.

I remember getting the same problem in Dom2. Never did find out what was doing it.

List of sites that were there might help. Maybe one has an unmentioned affect?

It does sound like something that should be patched in.
