Magic resources

I played as my AI opponent to see what he was up too...

He was gathering 3,400 minerals, 400 food and 200 radio a turn.

He was using 21,000, 8,000 and 4,000 a turn...

In sorage was 70,000, 50,000, and 50,000.

No trade partners either.

Somethign doesn't quite add up, any ideas?

They don't know anyone else.

I just did normal quick start (balanced mod).

Maybe he scrapped some ships or facilities that turn and gained back some resources?
