Email attachment for PBEM templates
 

I'm using Thunderbird to manage the mail of a PBEM Dom3 game I host. I have a set of template mails to send the .trn to the players. The problem is that if you put an attachment in a template, the attachment file is included in the template i.e. when I host a new turn the .trn file is not substituted in the template.
If the attachment were a link to the file it would be obviously better and the template mail would be updated.
Some workaround? Some other e-mail client?

You might google for Thunderbirds command-line options.
Or there are downloadable mailers for automating that process
