Getting a game together on another forum, advice?

Before Dominions 3 came out I did a AAR on a Dom2 game over on the Something Awful games forums: http://forums.somethingawful.com/sho...p;pagenumber=1

I finished my AAR right after 3 came out, and am now in the process of getting a game of dominions 3 going within the community. We are probably going to keep a running thread going as the game progresses for screenshots, smack talk, and the amusement of the greater gaming community (hopefully this will increase interest in Dominions 3).

Are there any good quasi-diplomatic rules that people have gotten to work in the past with the forums? I was thinking that if there was some way to possibly get the community more involved it might become alot more fun for all. Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated.

No real advice comes to mind at the moment, but I just want to say the thread you linked is seriously awesome.

Thanks! It was the first time I attempted a full fledged AAR with screenshots, and it was alot more work that I thought it was going to be. Loads of fun though.

I read through another thread talking about a RP game and the linked Council of Wyrms game information. As awesome as that was it was probably a little much for a group of people mostly new to the game, so it's probably only going to be a normal game with public banter.
