I love Carriers now

In part IV the carriers where a pain because you had to launch the fighters manually and overall it wasn't worth the hassle. But now I lvoe carriers. They work great, and I love seeing a swarm of tiny ships converge on the target.

Manual launch?
You must not have been playing multiplayer. Simultaneous games on PBW rule.
