New patches???
 

Is there a site describing known issues/problems with SEV besides this forum and progess on new patches?

I have really looked forward to playing SEV, but not this/these faulty version(s). End of turn crashes to desktop etc. can really ruin a game for me, so no need to waste time playing it until it works better. So it would be nice if the problems were collected in one thread, so you could browse through them and decide if you could live/endure the present shortcomings.

Maybe someone could make a progress bar detailing the flow towards a perfect working version http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

But it looks like it may be lagging. This is the best forum AFAIK. Most folks have had their share of frustration, and most of the folks here are helpful. What time I do have to play SEV I'm doing so because 1) I want to be familiar with the (cough) interface when version 3 is released (ROFL), and 2) I want to be sure I've put any issues I'm having that others may not be having in front of strategy first and malfador.

By all means submit a bug report to tech support if you're having problems. Run a dxdiag, zip up a save game saved at a logical point to highlight the problem, and any relevant screen captures and e-mail them in to support -at- strategyfirst - dot - com, and or support - at - malfador - dot - com.

Mostly be patient, looks like you regged long enough ago to know how it went with SEIV improvements. DeJaVu all over again!

Too bad that they didn't learn anything from SEIV.
