Let me introduce you the new ACE MOD.
This MOD adds some new units into the game (you can find the list of changes in MOD). It almost does not affect the balance at all - mainly icons/sounds of soviet/russian units were replaced, while Tochka, Tochka-U and Iskander units are simply an attempt to make an "answer" for those F-117 and B-2 "superplanes".

About the MOD:

Ace USSR Mod for SPMBT Win 2.5.1

Version 0.7 22.09.06

Changes in this MOD has taken place only in USSR, Russia and RED
databases.

The goals of modification are fixing and adding the database to achieve
greater trustworthiness.

Thanks a lot! Btw, do I have to load that new Russian OOB with OOB Manager in menu at first (or is it as "default" OOB after installation)?

The process of installation is fully automatical - just point the MBT folder in installation menu. No additional actions recquired.

specifically what changed does the mod make, I couldn't find anything after I downloaded the file.

New vehicle/weaponry icons/sounds plus some new units (like Luna, Tochka/Tochka U and Iskander).
You cant find them just because they are in RED database.

Can you confirm the range on the 30mm A\C on BMPs and BMDs.

It is 4000m in game but, I can not find anything to quote an effective range of more than 2500m.

Do you have some more updated info, you did not make any changes in your OOB so I was wondering if you had better sources??
