Dawn of Dominions Map/Scenario
 

This map is breath taking. Does anyone know if, when or where I could find more like this? Also how would one go about making a map in this fashion? Keep up the good work to whom ever made this map/scenario!

Dominions 3 is a breath of fresh air. This game is a masterpiece. Not saying it's perfect(after all, what is?) or trying to fan boy up the place but this game is right up my alley. Love the detail, the writing,game play the units, music and the oh so many options! Yes, I even dig the graphics, they let your imagination get in on the action as well!

There is a subforum here for "Scenarios, Maps, and Mods".

Making a map is surprisingly easy. Even making a scenario. But it is time consuming. Its in two parts. An image file which is just the picture of the map. And a text file with a .map extension which actually tells the game how to treat the map. Which provinces are neighbors, which provinces are plains or mountains or sea etc etc, which provinces have too few neighbors and should not allow players to start there.
