Forging Poll
 

I've been trying to decide how best to use gems in Dom3, so I thought I'd ask...

Guess what I usually forge first?
 

I voted lvl 2 and lvl 4.

As to what I usually forge first...well as long as I have the earth magic, dwarven hammer (lvl 2)...so all future forging is cheaper.

Also skull mentor (lvl 4) is probably my favourite early magic item item to forge for obvious reasons.

I really like to summon so I tend to concentrate on making items that increase magic levels.

Most of my forging is either level 4 or 6, the level i8 start forging at depends too much on my nation and build(with, for example, an awake SC pretender i could start forging at lvl0. With a bless or summon strat i might not forge any items until i reach level 6 or so)

If using a pretender that needs equip- trinkets. Otherwise, almost always wait for 4 or 6.
