Christmas break SE5: anyone for 1v1?
 

I'm off work from 12/23/06 through at least 1/1/07. While I won't be camped in front of the computer the entire time, it does seem like an opportunity to get involved in one or more games against single opponents, and crank out a number of turns per day (except for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day) for a semi-fast start. That way, once the New Year gets going and the turn pace slows, the game will at least have had a chance to develop.

Who knows, maybe things will get crazy (lots of late night turns after the family is off to bed) and we could actually finish one.

Anyone up for a PBW game of SE5 v1.20, BM 1.01?

Game is up. I didn't enter you manually as a player in the game because I I did not want to assign you an empire name.

I've never started a PBW game before. Hopefully I won't mess anything up, but it looks fairly straightforward.

The empire name only takes effect on PBW, so its not a big deal for 1v1 games.

And don't worry about the name, it's just 1 v 1 not an RPG
