Forum usage question

Under profile is an option "Search all Posts by this registered user". I tried to use it to review my Posts. After a few minutes of searching evey forum, I got a list of my Posts - fine. I looked at the first one - fine. I tried to back up so I could look at the second. NOT fine - it does not work. What am I doing wrong ????

Mine opens up in a second window. Are you using Netscape or IE?

Sorry, AOL is not my bag of tea. I use direct connections to the internet. Haven't seen AOL software in over 6 years. Not sure how their interface works anymore.

Thanks! Right click and select open in new window works fine. I did not know you could do that!
Now I have another question. Although I selected store my user name and password for one year, it is no longer stored. So how can I get it put back so that it is automatically present when I try to post ?

P.S. Never mind, I guess it was a one shot thing, the next post it was automatically present again....

Your username & password are ALWAYS stored for the current session (i.e., as long as you keep your browser running). The next time you visit you may have to re-enter your name & password. I think the "save for 1 year" is based on cookies, so if your browser doesn't allow cookies, or if you delete them regularly, it won't work...

Re: Forum usage question

Oho !! Now I understand. A few days back I was looking at my Aol preferences and decided to purge the 1000+ cookies. So now I have to enter my name and password on every post. Oh well, it is not that much trouble....
