Becoming Prophet = New Sprite/Monster Nbr?
I've never encountered this before. When playing as EA C'tis I promoted a Lizard King to become my prophet and, strangely, his sprite changed as a result. Instead of using the newer, high-res sprite of the Lizard King (monster number 177), as a prophet he now has an older (or at least lower-res) sprite and is apparently now monster number 328. I've never seen a commander change sprites or monster numbers in the process of becoming a prophet before... Is it intentional or perhaps some strange glitch? Does anyone know of other commanders that also "transform" when becoming prophets?

Re: Becoming Prophet = New Sprite/Monster Nbr?
There are certain monsters that change mosnter type when they are prophetized. In Dom2, they were the C'tis Shaman (170), the Lizard King, the Dwarven Smith (323), the Abysian Warlock, Anathemants, Demonbred, the Mystic (311) of Arcoscephale and maybe a couple more.
I expect the same monsters to change type in Dom3 when they are prophetized. There may be some new ones as well. I suppose we're going to find out once the DB gets more complete. Edi |

sucks though that they didn't update the graphic...

It might suck, but thanks to these prophet forms we can mod a nation whose mages become stronger in magic when they're propheted (by giving the prophet form magic bonus).

And there's no reason we have to keep the prophet-sprites they give us, either.
Hmmm...it would be cool if there were a certain Tien'Chi immortal that, when prophetized, turned into a golden Chinese-style dragon (of joy and happiness). |

Yep, I knew there was something I missed. I'm at work right now and with no easy access to the DBs or a lot of extra time to peruse them.
