I didn't want to start this thread but I am dying to know what you think of it. Have you read it? Do you like the flow? Any feedback on the characters? General discussion...

Frightlever if you have a negative take on the story than feel free to say so. However there is absolutely no reason to be aggressive and insulting. This forum is not for you if you think attacks like that are going to be tolerated or welcomed. You are still welcome to place a constructive comment if you think you can conduct yourself in a manner within the guidelines of the TOS.

That's only because Kana is old school. He knows he has the power of the military backing him; and he doesn't need to show off his power. He also knows the people love him, he has one passion and that is the people... the Republic. It's like an aura effect. Why else do you think the President wanted to be seen with him during the upcoming campaign season.

Most authors have no clue if people like their books until they are published. Having folks read your work as it is writen is truly a valuable tool. However most people do not tend to comment on said works. The sales of the book speak as to wether or not the material is enjoyed and desired.

So don't ever let lack of feed back on any story posted her keep you from writing. In the end it is the entire body of the work that matters, not each chapter. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

That is true and I try to keep that in mind. I was looking to gauge things so far as I am simply not a writer. Either way I will keep adding to the story, if for no other reason than I want a record to look back on. Besides I may be a crappy writer for others to read; but I think I do just fine! :0

Don't let other people judge your "work". No offense but I don't think your a novelist so writing is probably something you just enjoy doing, so it's just a hobby, who the hell cares what other people think of your hobby. If they don't like it, fine, they can say that, say why they feel that way and stop reading it. They dont have to read it, your not shoving it down their throats. If they like it they can keep reading it, talk about it and discuss it and keep reading it. And for the record, I haven't read it all, I've basically just skimmed parts of it, but I have enjoyed what I've read and do plan to go and actually read the whole thing at some point.
