Mod: Star Trek Enterprise and Defiant
 

Something I cranked out over the weekend, I played the ISD mod and got inspired to try my hand at mod making also. From the ReadMe:

Adds in the Enterprise D (from Star Trek the Next Generation) and the Defiant (from Deep Space 9). Each ship has a unique play style adding to the fun. I tried to be as accurate as possible to the ST universe, but some things didn't fit or wouldn't have been able to do and balance in the game mechanics (Deflector dish weapon and the defiant having "normal" phasers come to mind)

This mod adds both the Enterprise D and the Defiant, both ships have appropriate weapons with facings, weapon emission points, equipment and features.

Enterprise D:
While packing quite a formidable amount of fire power, it is neither fast nor maneuverable. It's inability to defend itself against missiles can be difficult. The Enterprise's crew will attempt to automatically repair systems that have been damaged. Also, because of the sheer power of the Enterprise's engines it is capable of passing near blackholes without danger.

Defiant:
Because of the Defiant's ablative armor, it's sub-systems do not take damage. It is equipped with 4 forward firing pulse phasers and 2 forward firing quantum torpedoes. Just like DS9 it's fitted with a cloaking device.

I like these ships, I was just thinking that someone should do a borg model - and have it do something similar to the yellow kawangi (maybe even have your flotilla converge on wolf-359?)
