Help me with flag thing...
 

At first, Big Thank You to you Camo guys about v.3! You rule:)!

And now into topic...

Well I have somehow lost Russian flag (now there shows only "former" Soviet Union flag even post-1989 years:()... I need only those map V-flags (small icon flags seem to be ok) and menu flag. Maybe some modified map files caused this? Anyway, please could anyone attach those files here ok?

Just so I'm clear here......In your game now the main menu flag and the map V hex flags only shows the Old Soviet flag for all time periods in your game ??

I just checked my master work copy of the game and I checked the copy of the game I use when I make a new installation package for a patch and all the Main menu and Map V hex flags show the correct Russian flag for both eras and as well, the patch does NOT contain changes to the SHP files that contain either the main menu flag or the V hex flags.

You mentioned "modified map files " where are you seeing this problem occur in all game types?

When did it start occuring?

Have you patched your game with all three of the patches that have been issued ?

Well I played US vs. Russia 2007 and then I noticed that. I think that some of mods (which I earlier installed into MBT, Cold War perhaps?) caused this... I thought that I was backup original files into another place but those flag files (battle or/and batbut.shp?) seem not been there... And all 3 patches are installed in order since beginning.

So you installed the Cold War mod over the v2.51 and then upgraded the game right over it?
Or have you uninstalled the mod before installing the V3, using the CWM_RC0.1_restoredefaults.exe file?
This exe is designed to replace all the modified flag files (plus names, ranks, picklists etc.) with the original v2.5 ones.
Tell me if you have run it and you have still problems with the flags, that means a bug in the mod.

If you haven't run it prior to installing the V3 patch, the flag files are battle.shp, icon0095.shp, and icon0097.shp.
Run the uninstaller above or manually overwrite these files with backup versions.

Warning! backup the picklist files "PK012000.DAT", "PK012001.DAT", "PK012002.DAT" before running the RC0.1 uninstaller over the V3 game!
Better yet, run the uninstaller in a new folder and then copy only the .shp files into your game directory.

I'll post an updated V3-friendly version of the mod soon.

Ok. Thanks Plasmakrab about advices! I could try that CWM...exe-file at first when I come back home later;)and backup those picklist files at first. I will back to this topic if needed.
