Another feature request - battle screen!
many times I find myself watching battles, and the lack of unit information can be a little confusing. For starters, if the enemy has the same type of troop unit as you, it's impossible to distinguish between YOUR troops attacking and THEIR troops routing. Also, it's a little tough, even when clicking on a unit and pulling up its info screen, to see what's going on... is it poisoned? has it been blessed? are there other spell effects on it? what are its current hit points (against its maximum)? Whose side is it on? etc. What are its orders (attack rearmost, fire once, etc... this one would be really useful for learning from battles).
I think just a little popup with some symbols like country flag, HP, morale symbol etc. when you just "mouse over" a unit would be very helpful. |

That might be a future feature in the next iteration, but a good idea nonetheless.

When you click on an unit, you will know if it is blessed by looking at the "sacred" icon.
If the candles are lit, then the blessing is on. For unit poisonned, look at the bottom of the window : you will see there the selected unit (and other units in the same grid emplacement if any), a red bar for HP damage, and a green bar if poison damage is pending. |

Dom3 has come along way since Dom2. There are more status icons and they tell you more. A good example is now when you click on the sacred candles it tells you exactly what the bless is doing, even for the enemy. (which also means you can roughly figure out what the magic stats of the other pretenders are...)
