Patch for the Download Version (not Steam)
 

Does anyone know how I could patch my downloaded version of the game (not steam version) with the new 1.25 patch?

I tried to download and install the patch which is on their website but it didnt work :-( It seems this one is only for the boxed version of the game.

Any help would be appreciated...

I cant believe I am the only one who bought this game via download on the strategyfirst website and is looking for a way to get this game version 1.2 patched to 1.25 :-)

Did it complain about the game being the wrong version?
You didn't change any of the stock files, right?

Daylight savings time changes have also been known to confuse the patch occasionally (hey, this file was created an hour before what I expected!)

It was mentioned over at se5.com that Aaron is hopefully getting out a compatible patch today.

Ah ok, thanks you two for the response and the hint about the spaceempires5.com website! (Didnt know this site yet)

Its out there as it seems, I cant wait to get home and try it, together with your balance mod Captain :-)
