Problem after getting new patch
 

Right. I downloaded new patch (woohoo) then went to play the game but when I double-click short cut nothing happens. Cursor pops up hourglass like it's about to load up and then.....nothing. (Doh!) Any suggestions on how to fix this? Could any of the mods I've downloaded be conflicting? Should I reinstall? Am I the only one encountering this prob? Any help would be appreciated.

Do you, by any chance, have a zombie dom3 process running in the background? Perhaps from an earlier crash?

*mournful sigh* No. this is first crash I've ever had with an Illwinter game.Most of the mods I have are from Zepath and they've never been a prob before.

That is not a common problem. I had no problems running the patch or running Dom3 afterward, so your install or patch might have gotten corrupted somehow. Uninstalling and reinstalling might help. Just copy the savedgames, mods and maps directories somewhere else first.

Thanx guys. Edi, I finally came to the realization I needed to reinstall. Just didn't want to because it can be a hassle. But it works fine now. Thanx again.
