How do you...?
Hi guys,
I'm using a heavily modified Pacean1 or whatever ship set, but when I was editing images, I found that there is no baseship image. It defaults to the starbases design. Where do you edit the command lines to specify a path? I've tried placing the image as portrait_Pacean1_Baseship.bmp, but no go. Any ideas? Thanks. PS: I was installing the planet set upgrade v.71 I believe. I've noticed that the Saturn and the Jupiter descriptions are backwards. When I looked at the sector labels, they start at image value="0" while all images in the directory start at "1". To fix the problem, I just copied the description from one to the other in the sector type... Thanks. Steve |
Re: How do you...?
Try Pacean1_portrait_baseship.bmp. Change the bitmap name for the baseship in the vehicle file to from starbase to baseship. Should work.

Re: How do you...?
By default, baseships use the starbase image anyway... there's a file somewhere to change it so that it uses its own file, but I'm pretty sure that it applies to all shipsets.

Re: How do you...?
Will is correct, if you change the bitmap picture for the baseship in the vehicle file it will affect all the races. You could create a new hull type name for your base ship and just edit that one.
