Obsolete ship designs
 

How long does it take for obsolete ship designs to disappear? You can hide the obsolete ships in the construction window but they appear in the combat simulator. Is there a way to delete the obsolete designs so they don't clutter up the list? In SEIV, obsolete designs eventually disappeared if you didn't have any ships of that design but it doesn't seem to do that in SEV.

I don't know how long they stick around, but first make sure you no longer have any ships of that design flying around some where.

You can also save and load the game, the obsolete designs will be gone as long as the above mentioned condition is met.

I don't think that is the case, RCCCL. At least it doesn't appear to work for me.
