Possible Bug?
 

Hi,

I'm wondering If I've run into a possible bug. I'm fighting a delay battle 6/40 Germany (me) vs. British (computer) as part of a long campaign, and for some reason in this battle my PzKw IVc and PzKw IId are firing predominately HE at hard targets (with plenty of AP rounds available). The PzKw IVc occasionally fire AP, but so far HE is the norm. I have not seen the PzKw IId fire any AP yet. This is my 5th battle in the campaign and this the first time I've run into this behavior. Any ideas?

We've had this mentioned before. It's not a bug. It's the game deciding it has a better chance of damaging the target with the HE than with the AP.

You don't mention what the "hard targets" are or the range to target.

??

Save games are always helpful but I'm fairly certain this is the reason for using the "wrong" ammo.

Ah - ok. The targets are predominately A13s and Crusader Is at medium to long range. Once I engaged them at <400m my PzKw IVc switched to AP.
