Finnish spob35 captured T-34 tank errors!
 

These are mostly cosmetic but also one availability date error found.

Unit:
016 - T-34 M41 -> Wrong picture showing a T-34 model 1940. Suggest changing LBM to "23553" which shows the captured finnish T-34 model 1941.

Unit:
017 - T-34 M42 -> Check availability currently at October 1941, Should be maybe October 1942 since now it is before the Russians get it.

Unit:
018 - T-34 M43 -> wrong picure shows a T-50 tank should be changed to LBM 23543.
Also it seems to use the T-34 model 1941 icon graphics which is wrong, should use the model 1943 graphics.

Unit:
019 - T-34 M44 -> Again wrong picture showing the T-50 tank. Possible fixes: Either use the LBM from the Soviet T-34/85 M1944 or use the LBM in the attachement of this post. The LBM in the attachement shows the T-34/85 M44 in finnish use and is set to gray scale 160x80 pixes whit the correct Palette.


As a side note the captured T-50 tank, which picture is incorrecly used for the T-34 tanks mentioned above, seems to be missing from the Finnish OOB, but whit only one tank captured and used (from 1942-1944) mainly as a command vehicle it is not nessesarily needed.

Also for unit: "021 - KV-1E" there is a more correct picute of the finnish origin "LBM 23506" that could be used. This tank should have the shorter barreled 76.2mm F32 gun but I could not find it in the weapons list in the Finnsih spob35.

A note on unit "020 KV-1S" Finnish spob35. It was not infact a KV-1s but KV-1 Model 1941. The "S" in the naming ingame now might be from a German designation or something else but the tank was infact model 1941.

First the KV-1 model 1940 (E) whit the additional bolted armor plates and shorter F-32 gun.

Second the KV-1 model 1941 whit the longer ZIS-5 gun in the new type of cast turret. Yes the name was actualy ZIS-5 although the gun was wery similar to the F-34 used in T-34 tanks. It was designed to fit the KV-1 turret and redesignated as the ZIS-5. But for gameplay purposes it makes no difference if it uses the F-34 gun just a minor thing.

No, thank you Don for taking the time to address these issues. The unit pictures should be all ok after the fixes suggested, theres just one more unit picture that bothered me. That is the picture for the Lndsvrk 40 ItK -Unit 27- ("Pm19765.LBM"). The original picture has been narrower than 160 pixels and so whoever added it to the game has used some quick copy pasting to stretch it to fit 160 pixels. The result is not wery good looking as you can see, so I edited this picture so that it hopefully looks better now. The corrected picture is in the attachement of this post.

Not that it matters really I am just curious http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif, but the picture for the Landsver Anti II AA tank after the 2.0 patch looks wery strange. I haven't been able to find a reference to it anywhere on my books or the net but it looks to me like its the swedish AA tank whit a 50mm or 75 mm German Pak gun. What tank might it be? Or maybe it is just the shadows playing a trick on my eyes. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Ah well...can't win 'em all.......

I had a "better" photo of that vehicle but I didn't use it becasue it was cluttered with other things and then I saw that and thought I was seeing the correct photo.
