Related to the original post: Is there anywhere I can start learning about how to mod SEV? There seems to be a bit on the Wiki, but not much on the introduction.

Some of the information in SEIV Modding 101 is still relevant, though it won't help you with the formula fields.

Modding Tutorials (SEV) article has some data on the main files in it.
