Fixing neighbour relationships

There is at least one odd neighbor relationship on the east side of the Cradle map, where two provinces that visually should be neighbors are not, and one of these is neighbors with another province that it should not be, again based on the geography of the map.

When I examine the .map file, the odd relatiosnhip that should not be there is not in the list of neighbors, so I can't fix it!

Is there a way to remove a neighbor relationship from within the map editor, without removing "all neighbours in the world?"

Yes, ctrl-click if I remember right.
Left click to add one and cntrl-click to remove it

Sweet, thanks! I'll give that a try.

Yes. The obsolete version of Cradle that shipped with the game is plagued by map bugs. I'm reworking it to fix neighbors, some terrain errors and altering some terrain types to make better use of the new terrains that are available in the game (notably border mountains, which allow mountain resources but do not hinder movement).

All of them? Hmmm Im not sure that Id consider border mountains to be a map bug. Its meant as a dual province which allows one type of movement but still has access to anothers resources. Maybe a disagreement with the original mapmakers design.

I dont make all my border mountains into mountain territory. I go by the map appearance. Personally, Ive found maps that did make border mountains into mountains, which I disagreed with.

Don't worry, it's not all of them. I'm also going by map appearance, but there are areas in Cradle where border mountains make far more sense than mountains (which were all Jason had to go on in Dom2 when he made the map). Don't worry. I'm a fairly archconservative where it comes to fiddling with other people's work and if Jason comes forth and does changes himself, all that much better.
