OT: Plot

Thought this might raise a few giggles. I'm so glad to see Thrud back again...

Indeed, that did make me giggle.

It reminds me the time when Thrud was still published in a messy, interesting and funny little magazine called "White Dwarf". It had not yet been swallowed, digested and regurgitated by Games workshop in its current sorry state.

Bah.
I must be getting old.

Here's a funny little webcomic I found {Mindflayed}. The artists drawing skill isn't the greatest, yet. But if you like roleplaying games, well, you'll at least get the jokes. I think it has promise.

Me too. In fact, I remember that "plot" comic from the original White Dwarf. Take a look at the rest of the site, there are more strips. THey've also got some new Thrud comics for sale. My brother bought me 1,2&3 for Christmas, they are great.

Also at my brother's last night and after some wine and nostalgia he dug out his old "choose you own adventure" books. Anyone remeber Deathtrap dungeon, Island of the Lizard King or City of Thieves?

I'd also like to know what happened to Derek the Troll. That used to be my favourite...

I liked those 'Choose your own adventure' books. Even if I could never remember which choices got you the win. And they kept on changing facts around based on which path you chose.
