Newbie question: viewing AI moves
Hi and thanks for reading http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
I am a (very) new player, having a game atm where one of the AI is in the same system as myself. My sensor range encompasses one of his ships and I end my turn. When it is my go again he is no longer there, and I have no idea in which direction he has moved. Is there a way to "see" the enemy as he moves out of my sensor range when he is taking his move? Cheers! |
Re: Newbie question: viewing AI moves
Without cheating, not really. You can however, go to the Players screen from the Main Menu and untick the green dot in next to the empire in question, which will allow you to play as that AI, so you'll then be able to see where that ship went. You'll also be able to see all his other ships, colonies, etc, but I'm sure you'll be able to restrain yourself from peeking. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Re: Newbie question: viewing AI moves
LOL ok thanks, I thought I might have missed an option as in most games of this sort you can see the enemy moving around if it is within your sight range. I certainly do not want to spoil things by cheating!

Re: Newbie question: viewing AI moves
There's a button in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Click that and it'll show buttons to replay the last turn.
I'm not sure if it'll work in Sequential games (I always play Simultaneous, where the AI and player go at the same time) but its worth a shot. |

Awesome, thanks a lot - that worked just fine!
