Grouping fighters in simultaneous games.

Hi folks,

Is there anyway to group fighters in a simultaneous game other than the what the game gives you?

For instance, I have fighters that have rocket pod 3's and I'd like to group them in stacks of 10, but I get weird numbers like 3, 5, 9, 12.

Does anyone have a sure fire way to regroup fighters into stacks of desireable numbers?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Grouping fighters in simultaneous games.

The launch groups are determined by the *carrier* strategy (doing the launching) not the fighters themselves.

You will also get odd numbers due to launch limits.
EG: If your carrier can launch 7 fighters a turn, and your strategy is to launch groups of 5, you'll get one group of 5 and one group of 2 on turn 1.

So you build your carriers with a given number of launch bays, and your strategy reflects that number...
