Aegis Shield Bug?

I had an uber Tartian Titan decked out with Aegis shield and other good items.

He was destroying an army of Argathians. Then he just died. 189hp of damage and he was dead... from nothing I could see.

They were casting blood lust on him and the spell that destroys armor.
