Antimatter torp Question
As im sure you know antimatter and matter cant get along so as you also know the antimatter torp contains antimatter but yet the projectile itself is matter how can this be
and while im nitpicking the game how come and ancient galaxy has nebulsas nebulas are baby systems birthplaces of stars and as for methane atmospheres whenever a human farted wouldent it make the atmosphere worse as theyd be adding methane? ------------------ Some rule some serve some declare wars some fight them i declare wars i rule you serve you fight wars..... we are not the same..... never forget that.. |
Re: Antimatter torp Question
Magnetic containment fields, quantum effects, hyperbaric laser traps, force fields, take your pick. Energy fields are not "matter", and are currently used to confine plasmas hotter than the melting point of any material on Earth. We have the theory today to postulate how an antimatter drive or torpedo would have to work; it's the engineering which has to catch up. If they can demonstrate the teleportation of information (which they have, it's a quantum effect), and as they have proven the existence of the anti-matter particle, don't worry over anything a "futuristic" game can come up with.

Geezz... most people doing engineering in uni hate theoretical physics (like me), that's why they do engineering. Perhaps that tells us something! http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif CW |
