Mod AI scripts

I notice that both the Balance Mod and IRM Mod have downloadable AI scripts.

What exactly are these for? Do I need to plug these in somewhere along with the actual mod download or are they just something extra to take a look at or something?

The downloads are the source scripts for the AIs in each mod. They're posted for other interested modders etc.
