Odds of healing afflictions

It seems that the odds of healing afflictions are quite different
depending on the type of affliction. It would appear that 'crippled',
'lost an arm', and 'never healing wound' are very hard to get rid of.

Does anyone know how long it takes for an immortal unit to get rid
of each of these affliction, or rather what the 'per turn' chance is?

I know that that is true, but I don't know what the odds are. I recall seeing somewhere a list of the afflictions that were hardest to heal, you might find that somewhere if you search. Also, you might want to search the Dom II forum, as I'd guess the odds are pretty much the same from Dom II.

Re: Odds of healing afflictions

I'm not sure, but someone in this thread (http://www.shrapnelcommunity.com/thr...t=all&vc=1) seems to think that Never Healing Wound disappears more quickly with Gift of Health. I'm not sure, but I do know that both Immortal Wraith Lords and afflicted units with the Chalice have still had Never Healing Wound 10 turns after getting it. I believe it can be healed, but expect it to take a long time. I haven't noticed that Crippled takes long for an Immortal to heal from.

Wish I could give you specific numbers; perhaps if you run the game with a high level of debug (-dddddddd from the command line) it will tell you more.
