Error report - obat 13 USMC
 

USMC obat13 Vulcan AAG unit 61 uses Arena system when being attacked by aircraft PGM's, especially by PGM's of SEAD planes.

I have set up a test game, flying LGB and ARM equipped soviet planes at an array of these.

None of these have fired any sort of Arena or VIRSS weapon in reply to the incoming soviet missiles.

If you have a save game that shows this - please attach it.

I have just organized battle between the USA and the USSR - 1986 october.
The USA has purchased only: 6 section AA Vulcan (6*2)
The USSR has purchased only: 6 SEAD aircraft section (6*2) - Su-17 and Mig-27

All AA Vulcan were shot Arena against our rockets.

Mobhack - check up once again.

The USSR has purchased only: 5 SEAD aircraft section (5*2) - Su-17 and Mig-27

All AA Vulcan were shot Arena against our rockets.
Interestingly AA Vulcan blows up... As the tank... I.e. burns as the tank. Usually at destruction AA - on an icon soldiers disappear and on a map there is only a gun, and here it burns as the tank.

Mobhack - please check up once again.

Andy asked for a save game. Obviously you have tested this since he asked yet there is no save game attached. Why would that be?

Maybe the problem is that Vulcan AAG uses Arena against PGM's (I've wrote you about PGM's - not LGB's)? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif
KraMax is right - try out the soviet MIG-27 SEAD plane - the Vulcan will use Arena.

P.S. Don, since you're online and not accepting private messages - what about cobras?

Would it be too much to ask to know which side was player 1 and which side was player two ?

Why would it matter you ask?

Answer..... it MIGHT and without a save game seeing EXACTLY what you are seeing we can only GUESS at many things like this
