Best way for nation-specific pretenders/monsters
What is the easiest/ preferred / best way to declare a nation-specific pretender/ monster for more than one, but not all, nations? Particularly relevant if you want to create a pretender for all ages of a given nation.
Method A: Define once, then "copystats" that pretender multiple times (inelegant). Method B: Completely define the pretender from scratch each time (very inelegant). Method C: Define once, but declare multiple "restrictedgods" (I don't think this even works) |
Re: Best way for nation-specific pretenders/monste
Somebody must have an opinion on this one! Currently I'm using "Method A" in my mod.
I tried using the same unit/monster number for a pretender, repeated three times (once for each age) on the premise that no game would ever have the same number more than once, but that just caused errors. |

Method A, AFAIK.

Re: Best way for nation-specific pretenders/monste
To be honest I don't even add pretenders for my nations unless I made new ones. The current method (A) is simply annoying to me and something I'd like to see the devs change.
