A few newbie questions about game and technical
 

Howdy all,

A few questions for the community:

1.)is there a means to save SP turns or battles on a turn for showing off to friends? I successfully pulled off my first charm of a high level unit and I want to show some people but still be able to play the game more.

2.) is there a thread where experienced players discuss head to head of top level, non-commander summons? If not, I'll probably design a two player game and go to town against myself.

You can backup your game in the "savegames" folder. Or you could record a movie with programs like Fraps.

The backup lch speaks about is just a copy of the correct folder in the "Dominions 3\savegames". Archiving it into e.g. zip file works well.

Try looking for super-combatants. That should cover the most-widely used commander summons, and lots of scary stuff about them killing whole nations on their own. I don't remember any good compilation/discussion thread for high-level monstrous summons.

the super-combatant search yields a rather large and diverse set of posts. Any particular thread you keep in favorites?

Unfortunately, no. Try to find something that discusses the strengths of different "chassises", like Bane Lord vs Firbolg (who became Sleeper in the patch). Chassis could be a nice keyword, actually.
