F-16 Icon Set
 

For those of you who followed my M-1 Abrams icon set release a while back now. I mentioned my up and coming F-16 set. The wait is almost over...It has taken me longer than I was hopin, but to tide you over I am posting a few samples for you to get you drooling. LOL....Just messing around. But a preview none the less. Now keep in mind, I have based this set on those "Detail crazed" players/scenerio builders. There are WAY TOO MANY to even consider having all them in game. But now each player out there can but their favorites in game. From experience with other communities as well as this one. Options, options, options are sought after. If anyone complains about lack of options when this set is done. They need to be shot.....LOL.....I have researched and researched and researched some more to provide you with as much detail and options as possible.

2. Belgium - F-16B
3. Chile - F16C (Block 50)
4. Denmark - F16B (Block 15)
5. Netherlands F-16A (Block 1)
6. Egypt F-16C (Block 40)
7. Greece F-16D (Block 52+)
8. Could it be Indonesia?
9. ??? F-16A
10. US F-16A or C

And by the way, what is the status of your T-54/55 set?
...and any plan to expand the M26,M45,M46,M47 family. I'm thinking here about the M48,M60 and M103.

Well, the T-54/55s are in the works...LOL...that is a big one. I am hopin to wrap that up in the near future. Its gonna be a two part release. The MBTs, and then its variants, Engineer, Recovery, etc..

As far as the M-26 & M-45, M-46, M-47 families. I actually have those done. I posted those on the old Yahoo sight. I have them done in basic green and desert that is. I guess I could post them on here for those that don't know about the old Yahoo sites. I still have to do the different camos for the M-47s. But the Pershings, and M-46s, best of my knowledge, green should cover those for the world.

You don't like my old M-48s and M-60s? LOL, I know the
M-103 needs redone, which is my old stuff again. LOL. It will probably be a while before I do any thing with the
M-48 or M-60s, outside of expanding the M-60 Mag'achs. I have some new resources that I didn't have when I made those years ago. There are other icons that need work before those. But you are correct with the new color palettes that have been released after those were already done and newer techniques I have developed would let me produce better icons. But like I said above, its gonna be a while before I start that Trek.

I've always liked the M48 and M60 Icons as they were until I've seen the M26->M47 ones. Now besides the color palette change I think there is also a scale problem with the old icons. But you're right, dealing with the M48 and the M60 series would imply a tremendous lot of work and there is a whole bunch of other icons in need of an update.

So you have seen the ones I released on the Yahoo site? Nice to see people carrying over.

Something that might tied you over is. I am updating the M-26, M-45, & M-46 a bit and will release it shortly for the new comers. I am adding a surprize on them too!

Here is an update on the progress of this set for you. I have all the countries complete and now the only thing left are loadouts.

You have a favorite loadout for the F-16 or a specific country's loadout for their F-16s let me here it. I may just hook you up with it.

Ok, its been forever since I updated this. So here it is. All the countries I have done up to this point. I will add to it as I complete them. I apologize that I haven't gotten this done sooner, but we do have lives outside this game...lol...Make sure you read the first post for details on this set.
