SEV Game play question: Supply

I have a Resupply Depot on a planet.

If a ships travels through a system BUT does not stop at, pass over or basically hit the planet containing the Resupply Depot during his movement.

Will the Ship passing through the system (not stopping, passing over or going near the planet with a depot) get resupplied?

In otherwords, does the ship need to actualy orbit the planet with the depot on it? Do I need to spend a whole turn there? or simply choosing to pass over the planet (during my movement) resupplies my ship?

Re: SEV Game play question: Supply

No, it gives supplies out to any ship in the system no matter where they are. They are limited to how much they give to ships (see in facilities descr).

If you have a ship move to a plant that has supplies it should pick them up automattically and then you can move them elswhere.

Re: SEV Game play question: Supply

Ships in system get resupplied a certain amount of supplies and ordinance per turn, depending on their level. This is 500 for level 1 depots.

Ships that visit a planet, *any planet*, take as much supplies as they need from the planets supply pool, which you can see on the cargo screen for the planet. On planets with a resupply depot, it's replenished every turn.
