Undead priest production
 

Hey!

I like to use undead priests to raise free arrow fodder from unburied corpses with whatever nation I'm playing with, not just the ones with "natural" undead priests.

The tree ways that I have figured out to make undead priests are:
-Making a demon or undead summon my prophet.
-Casting twiseborn (with empowerment + skullstaff if no death magic) on a priest and having them die of disease or in the front lines.
-Make a horde of priest, take them to battle, hope to get a few in the hall of fame, have them die, cast ritual of rebirth.


But because prophetising works only once and twiceborn and ritual of rebirth are slow, awkward and costly, I would like to ask if anyone has a better way to make undead priests on any nation.

Go to battle with a load of priests in a huddle and some bog beasts on "guard commander" on one of the priests. Either carry the Ankh, or have someone cast Life After Death (if I've remembered the name correctly). The bog beasts will poison the priests to death, and then they'll come back to life as soulless priests. Magic!

Yeah, Mound Fiends are probably the easiest way to get undead priests. I think that one of the Ice Devils is also an unholy priest, but I could be wrong about that....
