Random questions:

Immortal units - if killed by a horror inside your capital with positive dom, should they respawn? With or without items?

Immortal Units - diseased immortal, when they come back, do they keep coming back with 1 hp and keep dying? or do they still have a chance to heal the disease via immortality. Do they finish the action they were assigned before dying?

Undead and holy - just want to confirm, I think that temples don't affect undead, but holy sites do - correct?

Is there a good/efficient way to site-search for holy sites?

What is the killing light spell from the sword of many colors?

crystal heart: cursed, one extra life - per battle or a 1-shot?

Wailing winds - anyone know the specific morale drop?

upkeep - do most summoned units cost no upkeep? Are there a few that do, specific type or a specific few? Are they in Edi's database? Dumb question, but can't find the other post: is it cost x 15%(30%) or cost/15(30) Makes more sense to be cost/15(30) so you'd get more benefit from sacreds...just want to confirm http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif So a guy from library 100g should be 6.66g/turn not 15g/turn.

Re: Random questions:

Horror battles are treated as assassinations IIRC, so immortal units are respawned normally.

Immortal units & disease - they'll heal, eventually. However, it's been reported that Late Winter (the end of every in-game year) counts twice for disease, causing the 1 point of damage and killing immortal units permanently. The bug's been reported but not fixed AFAIK.

If you mean the "some of your undead units were killed by holy fire", yes, it's from sites. However, it's not from holy sites, but from few spesific sites that harm undead. Some of these are holy, some aren't (there's at least one Nature site, for example). There are several holy sites without the ability.

Weapons don't use spells, but effects of their own. They are listed in Edi's list, under weapons. This is because the game handles them as weapons, and any weapon can be used as a special effect (Halberd with special effect: Trident is possible, just silly).

Once only. It also works outside battles, though. Besides being cursed, it causes a Chest Wound that won't heal as long as you have the heart.

Wailing Winds - can't help here.

Upkeep: 1/15th of gpcost, half that (1/30) for sacreds. Generally, only summons that are also recruitable cost upkeep. Elementals, undead, constructs etc are almost always free of upkeep.

cool
eww
k

K, so killing light looks like 10 AN damage to target? Hmm, thought it would be more exciting then that http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

So, once the crystal heart is used once its what.. just a wasted slot? (and a free +5 enc chest wound?)

K, I don't think so but can anyone recuit wolves? a la call of the wild? Or the black eagles? Cast call of the wild a couple of times and had the upkeep jump up, but had other things going on so couldn't pinpoint.

Thanks btw

Crystal Heart vanishes after it's been used. Just like Elixir of Life.

Re: Random questions:

Summons cost upkeep the same as recruited troops, it's just that most have a 0 gold cost -- see Edi's DB for specific cases.

Ulm has a wolfherd in LA IIRC, who can summon allies (wolves).

Re: Random questions:

So, the DB lists them as gold cost zero but it seems they do have an upkeep. It could definitely be me imagining things, as I haven't spent the time actually test it.

Re: Random questions:

The DB values are correct. Checked them all by making the units recruitable, so it would have showed a gold cost. Wolves have always been upkeep free. Black hawks used to have gold cost in Dom2, but not in Dom3. Surprised me that it had been altered, but it's better this way.
