Is this spell 100 percent safe, like teleport, or is there a chance of injury?

Perfectly safe.

Great for mounting surprise attacks into enemy lands.

I always think of this spell as the cloud that Monkey summons in that quirky chinese program Monkey. You know the one with pigsy, the fish guy and the priest.

however wind ride is different, theres a chance your guys will fall into some neighboring province. In one game instance I was trying to windride a bunch of pythium communicants to a distant land, and they kept falling into some water province and drowning... 100% of the time.

Cloud trapeze is 100% safe. Even when you bounce off a shield, you go back
to where you started... at least you did in Dominions II. I have not bounced
in Dominions III yet.
