Where did my smoke go?
 

Sorry if this has been covered in a question earlier, but I could not find it.

Where have my units smoke ammo disappeared to in my campaign. My StG-III's and IV-e's "x"-0 units do not have smoke ammo loads after their first battle appearance? However, if I buy a Finn T-34 "x"-0 as an auxillary - it has smoke ammo (which it will fire at the oddest times btw)

Do any core panzer units ever get smoke ammo loads from battle to battle. The only smoke ammo that reloads are in my 81mm mortar halftracks and my Sig I-bs.

Will future versions of the Mk-IV get smoke to the leader tanks later in my campaign?

This has been fixed before. have you upgraded to the latest version of the game?

Also - what unit classes are these tanks since this is a by class thing. Infantry support tanks get smoke added, but mediums etc. may not. Therefore if you upgraded to a different class at campaign upgrade, you may not see any "freebie" smoke if you changed unit class.

Thanks, do you have the forum location for any prior posts? I scould not find them. I have a CD version, I will have to look at the version number - would a patch probably fix it? I will try it if I need to get current.

I honestly do not remember when I 'lost' the smoke. IRC my old StG-IIIbs had it at the start and 'lost' it the next battle. My current StG-IIIe-s I cannot remember if they ever had it. The Mk-IVe (which I upgraded from the IV-c) is a CS tank, No?

I just finally brought the CD, and at present you must upgrade it, that may fix your smoking habit...
