Listing of base gem income per race per era DONE!

1 Attachment(s)
Hello everyone,

Is such a thing available? I am often starting to play with a race in an era and finding I have no base gem income for the magic I've built my pretender around.

I know I can read the little descriptions when choosing race, but they often don't say what gem income they have.

I know I can search for magic sites. :-)

Does anyone know if such a list exists? Am I blind (missed it in the manual?)

Thanks!

UPDATE -> It's DONE and has been attached to this post! Enjoy everyone (well, newbies like me!) Thanks for the advice people!

Just create a new game with all the nations inside it. I have the same for a reference to quickly check up on enemy units and mages when I need to. I attached the savegames that I whipped up for that occasion (with randomly assigned pretenders, I didn't care for those as I only want the info).

Hi! I'm not totally sure I understand what you're suggesting. :-) Are you saying you've made savegames for the start of every single race, and you load them up to manually check? I presume that's what the attachment is.

Thanks for that attachment!

Or you could just start a quick testgame with the race your going to play and find out.

I think what he's describing is the same thing I did: make a game called "All Races EA" or something, add every nation as human-controlled (the easiest way to do this is to hit the button for a new random nation repeatedly until it stops giving you the option; since no nation can repeat, once you have 17 races or whatever you must have all of them; then hit shift-H to set them all to human-controlled), give them some random pretender (just accept the default), and start the game. When you want to examine e.g. Arcoscephale, start up that game and pick Arcoscephale as the nation you want to play. Examine your units and then End Turn when you're done.

Or you could use the single age mod and create just 1 game with all nations in it.

Very useful when you want intel on a nation, you can get a idea of what the strengths/weaknesses of a nation are.

It should definitely say what the gem income is in the nation info screen. Maybe for the next patch?
