Any new games opening?
 

Hi,

Are there any games opening? I haven't played MP for quite some time. I would like to get thrashed. Can anyone recommend a game that is about ot begin? No preferences at all, but maybe I should play a nation with few national summons or old graphics, so I get motivated to work on it http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

I was thinking of starting a larger game - probably mid or late - random nations (with a few exception)...

Edit: Are you looking for blitz or a longer (24/48 hour turn) games?

How would I go about seeing the settings for Gandalfs open games? I'd be curious as to how many players a given game is waiting for in order to start.

The games are on small maps and set to start automatically when 4 people join. But you can hit the start button earlier if you want to play with 2 or 3

Otherwise Gandalfs 4 player blitzs are fun and quick.

Also Velusion runs excellent longer MP games, he usually has every nation in a particular age.

Shame you are too late for the 62 player mega game, its fantastic, Velusion runs this too.

Ubercat - all Gandalf's games are 4-player. Their settings are largely standard as I remember, except they have magic sites 60.

I'll call it Armadillo (I have a South American mammal theme going with my games), and I'll go with the popular vote for age/game settings.
