I have a problem
So I am working on a project and I need to graphically illustrate a Squad, Platoon, Regiment, Legion, and Army components.
Squad and Platoon are only large enough for troops so I figured to use standard Infantry images for those. But since a Regiment and above will have armor, how should I illustrate them? The problem I am having is that rendering time for heavy model images is about six hours. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif So I need to come up with something more efficient. Any suggestion would be helpful. |

I am thinking about using this one as the Legion image.

Re: I have a problem
Why not render each model once, and then use paint to lay out drafts of the scene before you do the final render?

I have no skills or any program to do such a thing. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

Re: I have a problem
You have Paint... for something more advanced, free and light-weight, you could try Paint.net.
