Tartarian Spirit wielding Tartarian Chains
 

I used the Tartarian Gate Spell, and got a Tartarian Spirit named Shek Dimmu. He has a pair of Tartarian Chains as weapons, but the description does not mention the Enslavement effect. Are these Tartarian Chains different from The Tartarian Chains that is a forgable unique magical artifact? The attack, defense, and damage stats are the same, but the length is 5 as opposed to the 3 listed in the manual for the unique tartarian chains.

If they are the same, how would you go about equipping him?

Not the same weapon. Different weapon number, only the artifact has the enslavement effect.
