Happiness in SE V?

In SE V you have three happiness types in the data folder similar to SE IV. However where in the race setup you can chose one of these types?? I can't see it. Neither I see it in the AI files if the computer makes rhe race creation.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think only the peaceful entry is read for all races. At some point long ago I had raised the question with MM about happiness and how it was working in SE:V but don't recall a response.

It is my impression too that only the peaceful happiness is used.
Sometimes it is hard to understand why things that worked perfectly in SE IV are not implemented/functional in SE V.

For the longest time it wasn't known if happiness.txt was actually being used. Not sure if it will be ever be change to become a selectable item again. I'll inquire about it though since it does control an important aspect of colony management.

From my understanding, SE5 was pretty much rewritten from scratch in a new language (C++) to take advantage of all the 3d DirectX libraries.
