Couple of questions

Is it possible to run a PBEM on a local machine, or do I have to use a server?

Is anyone planning on running an EA newbie game anytime soon?

Re: Couple of questions

PBEM does not need a server, just a host, who collects players moves, hosts each turn and sends back the results.

Most of the games here are network games, which use a server as the host. Email isn't needed, since players connect directly to the host when they do their moves.

See the manual, pages 29 and following, for complete details.

Re: Couple of questions

There are some changes to the manual if anyone decides to do PbEM games on a server let me know. Automating is it abit more possible than the manual leads you to believe
