is it a bug ?
Hi all,
when I try to create fleet in simulator and add ship to the fleet, what's happen is that the fleet disappear ... there is a way to have fleets in simulator ? And, otherwise, to test differnet strategies I have to change the ship strategies ? bye bye Liga |

Disappearing Fleets:
As i understood it, you can only add existing fleets. I mean, to add a fleet to the combat simulator you must have it. Strategies: In design window check the "show shats/strategy" to see and/or change the strategies. You can also add your own. Its, AFAIR, in the Empire window. |

I think the 'disappearing fleet' problem is a bug, since I am able to do this under v1.30, but not under v1.41. The current 'workaround' is as TaeraRepublic says, use existing fleets.
Re Strategies: When you design a ship, you can select a "ship strategy" for that design. In the simulator, there is also a "strategy" option for each race which apparently is supposed to apply to fleets though maybe just to each race's ships in general (it's not specified, and you can select it even if no fleets are designated). However, I have not had much success determining if EITHER of the strategies (ship or fleet) are at work. More testing is needed, so please let us know what you can determine. Same thing with the Cargo window. Open, Close, reopen.
Haven't had a problem with the 1.41, but then I haven't tried to make simulated fleets lately. The cargo window works properly in v1.41, though. |
